best hob filter for 29 gallon tank?
it's getting close to replacing my whisper 60 filter and i don't want another whisper due to electrical considerations i can only have one filter as the max for my electrical lines near the tank is three and i have one for the light and one for the heater so that's why only one filter
the whisper just doesn't move enough water and the replacement filters are too expensive although it does keep the water crystal
what hob filter moves water for real has a flow control valve and replacement filters won't cost me an arm and a leg
this is a freshwater community tank with all clean tropical fish set up and doing well for just over one year
We have a 30gal tank and we use Aqua Clear. No problems with it so far.
It doesn't have those filter cartridges that the whisper does. The price on it is not too bad either. It uses bags of carbon and ammonia and they are easy to use. It's called the Hagen AquaClear Power filters
